Performance Standards :
Consistent with other leading professional institutes at national and international levels, each Post-Graduate Programme maintains demanding standards of conduct and performance from students throughout the programme. Students are expected to behave like Management trainee professionals inside and outside the Institute. The Students must be available for active participation in all academic and professional activities of the institute. 85% regular attendance by a student is required at all such activities for the award of a Diploma of the Institute approved by AICTE and recognised by AIU as equivalent to a degree of a recognised university in India.Evaluation Process :
The Institute’s Diploma is awarded on the basis of continuous, constant and rigorous internal and external Evaluation Performance Standards which stress on attitudes and skills in addition to substantive knowledge.
The student’s internal performance is evaluated on the basis of his / her
i) Class participation
ii) Group participation
iii) Oral presentations
iv) Performance in unit examinations, including open book and surprise class tests.
v) Professional behaviour in and outside the class outside the class
vi) Participation in seminars organized by the Institute.
vii) Participation in organising various professional activities in the Institute.
viii) Interaction with industries
ix) Active participation in case studies
x) Performance in the tutorial classes
xi) Writing project report on the basis of information gathered from the industries.
xii) Performance in the written and open viva- voice comprehensive examination, etc Performance Standards & Evaluation
The external performance of a student is evaluated on the basis of his/her performance in the :
i) End Semester written examination.
ii) Written and verbal comprehensive examination
iii) Practical training in industries during summer vacation
iv) Term Paper Project report writing.
v) Participation in the open viva-voice examination conducted by the Institute.
vi) Interaction with outside professionals during Guest lectures.
